Every year, on may 28, Armenias old independence day, the Soccer teams participate in a tournament which takes place in Jerusalem. In this tournament, Homenetmen Haifa plays vs. Homenetmen Jerusalem and vs. Homenetmen Jaffa. The winning teams (among each age) take cups and the other teams take meddals. Homenetmen Haifa's team is well known with it's quality and holds many cups.

     On 2001, a fascinating tournament was held. The participating teams were: Homenetmen Haifa, Homenetmen Jaffa, Homenetmen Jerusalem, Hoyetchmen Jerusalem and the Armenian Seminary (Jarankavoratz). The patriarch donated a beutiful cup to that tournament and each one of the teams wanted to win that cup in any cost. Homenetmen Haifa won all of it's games with a grate performance and eventually won the cup too.
